BYOD for 2018. Get connected!

20/11/2017

We are a BYOD school and at present we have just over half the student population who has connected a laptop device to the school network. From what we could tell during the Year 6 Transition days last week, a large number of year 6 students will be prepared for year 7 with their own laptop device. This is great to see!

There are many benefits for having your own laptop at school and you don't need to break the bank to do so.

If you are planning on getting a laptop device for school over the holidays, please ensure you read the following documents.

Read the BYOD Charter. It has heaps of information on minimum specifications and how the BYOD network operates. It also provides procedures and student expectations.

A connection schedule will be made available via our Facebook page and student notices in the first few weeks of term 1 in 2018. To ensure a speedy connection, please ensure that you have returned your signed BYOD Agreement form (included in enrolment packages) and are up to date with your school SRS payments. If you are unsure if you have returned the appropriate documentation, please ring the school office on 5499 8111 and they will be able to let you know.
